Biogas feeding system for an internal combustion engine

A supply system of dual biogas/gasoline is proposed for a low power spark ignition engine. This work shows aspects related to design, manufacturing and tests of the fuel
supply system, including devices to keep the engine speed constant at all loads. For the design of the carburetor-mixing device, has been utilized a mathematical model in
order to optimise its geometry reducing the pressure losses and keeping adequate by a fuel/air ratio. Moreover, this work shows the experimental results carried out at the
Internal Combustion Engines - UNI Institute in a 6 kW one-cylinder stationary engine.
