Trends in the teaching on the design studio in architecture

Despite the importance of the Design Studio focused on the career of architecture, it is rare to have a specific reference to its teaching. This is partly explained by the idea commonly accepted that "doing" is more important than "thinking". In this paper, we analyze electronic information and recent publications on the teaching of architecture at major educational institutions at the international level by outlining the methodological and pedagogical approaches in teaching on the Design Studio. Our interest is on the ideas behind the teaching and not projects or images that result from their implementation.
