Experiences in the (crafts) workshop. A reflection based on pragmatism

This article outlines a reflection on the construction of professional knowledge in Architecture, based on the dialectics between the conceptions of the pragmatist current and teaching experience in the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of Universidad Nacional de La Plata. We will take the figure of the craftsman inasmuch as this establishes a dialogue between concrete practice and reflexive thought, and that of the workshop as a place for the construction of knowledge and development of skills. These will be the explanatory referents that will materialize the categories of analysis linked with the production of knowledge in this area: reflective practicum, experience, skill, face-to-face relationship, and tacit knowledge.
