Abstract

The high Andean own housing in urban areas located above 4,000 meters. Currently, presents several problems, among them, we can mention: inadequate thermal properties, with domestic smoke pollution and inadequate rooms for family living.

To contribute to the solution of this problem, we present a prototype house. Habitable and comfortable coat for the user and his family, designed according to thermal conditions and make the most of the lifestyle of the settler and the inputs of the place.

We believe that the design of the prototype housing for alpaca family, has respected the customs of the settler and uses of different environments for their own activities, in addition to using building systems established in the area, using traditional materials and adding new ones, easily acquired by those closest to the marketplace
