Abstract

Nowadays, the study of the magnetic properties of many materials is carried out by characterizing them and obtaining their hysteresis curves. One of the most used techniques to obtain these curves is from Vibrating Sample Magnetometry (VSM). In this work we calculate
numerically the electromotive force (emf) induced in coils with different geometries, using the developed model
by Bragg [3]; in which a harmomically oscillating dipole is considered as a magnetic sample.
