Another version of angular momentum
Keywords:
Angular Moment , vectorial model , scalar model , associated dipolar magnetic momentAbstract
The standard model of Angular Moment, in particular that of Spin, uses a vectorial operator that has threecomponents along the coordinate axes. Such vectorial model suggested by the orbital angular momentoR×Pseems to be dispensable; moreover it leads to confusion because it implies that such operator has projections alongthe coordinate axes. The present article shows a scalar model (without any mention of the coordinate axes) thatproduces the same known results of the vectorial model.
