The Program of support to Rural Habitat designed by the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, demanded the designing of houses, considering priority criteria of climate comfort, safety, technological efficiency and proper distribution of environments, which may also offer its durability and resistance to climatic conditions of the environment in which they are located, to help improve the living conditions of the population living in the country's poorest rural population centers.
Within this context, the Research Centre of the School of Architecture of the UANCV:CICAPAU, prepared a study for the implementation of the improvement of houses in the rural community of Aymaña, Corani, Carabaya, in Puno, Peru, emphasizing in cultural, socioeconomic and environmental peculiarity of this pan of the country and offering a coherent response that is inserted harmoniously, is welcomed, accepted and retained by the people, that does not undermine the environmental balance and ensure its sustainability.
