The permanency of the picturesque languages in Los Olivos
Keywords:
Picturesque language, Manierism, HousingAbstract
This article analyses the permanency or disappear of the picturesque languages which surged in the middle-upper class chalets in Lima during the twenty years. It discusses which new picturesque languages exist today, and if these architectural styles define a local architecture. The area of study is the district of Los Olivos, an area where the new emergent middle-class of the ninetieth years lives, specifically the Urb. El Trebol.
