Abstract

According to the academic tradition of the Architecture, Urbanism and Arts faculty from UNI, teaching Architecture's objectives is to train students of basic and formative educational level in Graphic Expression and architectural language.
We believe that the teaching methodology Graphic Expression courses (both process, hands and digital learning) is consistent in five initial cycles, but this is not reflected in Professional School official documents.
This research explains if there is consistency between the graphic expression teaching process and competencies required for courses of Architectural Design Area.
The FAUA-UNI is accredited by RIBA and initiating the national accreditation process situation strengthened the purpose of contributing in improving entire Graphic Expression area capabilities, looking for optimal academic relationship with Architectural Design courses;
this research is result of this concern.
