The creative process using three-dimensional sketches

Abstract

In this study, we present a method applied in the project discipline in the architecture and town planning course, where scale models are used as a means of stimulation for the creative processes. The three- dimensional modeling (scale models) that we refer to in this paper are understood to be a product or proposal that participates directly in the creation of the form and it distinguishes itself clearly from the conventional method, where the making of scale models is merely seen as a final product in the presentation of an already defined volume (volumetrics).
