Projects and project methods in research and academic education: some useful indicators

Abstract

The project “Academic Research in Arcas of Design Practice: Architecture and Urban Plamnil began as part of the activities of the research group: Architecture: Project & Research & Teaching 2 at the Mackenzie Presbyterian University in Sao Paulo, Brasil, in collaboration with University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom. It is part of the international debate about the issue “Practice based Research”. The PAAPP considers that research on architecture and others project practice areas can be enriched with its widest and most consistent adoption of habitual methods of project work as long as it is also applied in the academic research activities.
